THP Graphics Group, Inc., a Conyers, Georgia - Design, Printing and Sign Company has acquired another printing company, Business Printing Solutions in Atlanta, Georgia.
THP was established as a Georgia corporation in 1977. Co-owners, Jefferson Riley and David Bond have acquired several other companies in the last sixteen years. Some of these companies include Nelson Graphics, Harrison Signs, Metro Printers Guild, Broadwell Printing, Peeples Printing and in April of 2007, Regal Printing in Atlanta.
Business Printing Solutions is a fifteenyear old, very successful printing company owned by Derek Turney. BPS has recently had an increased demand for larger format and higher volume color printing. Their presses would not accommodate this and thus the reason for the sale. THP is a leader in this product market. Derek has known THP for many years and is very excited about his future with THP. He will join THP as the Atlanta Sales Manager.
Business Printing Solutions currently offers commercial printing with total sales of just over $1 million annually. “Business Printing Solutions dedication to excellent printing and quality service match the values of THP. BPS also has a Heidelberg DI Press which will complement THP’s existing Heidelberg equipment. This makes BPS another perfect fit for THP” says President and CEO, Jefferson Riley. “We will move BPS into our Atlanta location (the Regal Printing location) at 288 Fourteenth Street, under the name (THP Graphics Group Atlanta). This will double the sales volume at our Atlanta location and add to our large number of customers in that area.”
THP has also operated a graphic design agency in Conyers for 16 years and has re-branded it with the name (Align Design, A THP Company). Align Design opened a second office in Atlanta a year ago, also at our 14th Street location, adding to its sales and broadening its geographical reach.
In February of 2006 THP established (AdverSource, A THP Company) which is a promotional products and specialty advertising business. “This new subsidiary of THP has already experienced steady growth throughout 2006 and 2007. The added customer base from Business Printing Solutions will likewise be a big boost for AdverSource and Align Design.”
THP Graphics Group, Inc. underwent a total re-branding in 2006 to better identify its product offerings and subsidiaries. These subsidiaries include, AdverSource Promotional Products, AlignDesign Graphics Studio, CopyDocs Digital Output Centers, Sign Solutions Digital and Traditional and THP Printing Services. THP employs nearly 70 people at its three locations.
